Expovicaman 2025

Expovicaman, the Agricultural and Livestock Fair of
Castilla-La Mancha, held its 41st edition from May 7th to 11th, and we had the opportunity to
visit it. Here’s a brief summary of our experience.

Since last year (it’s an annual event), when the fair was moved to the classic fairground in the city, it has become a much more attractive and, above all, a much more pleasant
event to visit. The venue is very well set up for walking around, and being
located within the city makes it even more accessible. While we don’t have
official attendance figures, the turnout seemed strong, and the fair was quite
comprehensive in terms of agricultural machinery, scheduled activities, and
on-site events.

As for agricultural machinery, which was the main focus of our visit, we’d
like to highlight the following:

• There was a strong presence from dealerships such as
  Agrotrac
  (Deutz-Fahr) and
  Tractoralba
  (JCB). At their stands, we could see the full range of products from
  Deutz-Fahr.
• Avanterra
  (John Deere) showcased some new models from the 6M series, including the
  6M230, 6M200, 6M165, and 6M115.
• The
  Tajada Barrio
  dealership (New Holland and Case IH) had an impressive display of tractors
  from both brands—it’s clear they’re a major distributor.
• Fendt presented its new models 726 Vario and 620 Vario, alongside well-known
  models like the 722 Vario, 716 Vario, 516 Vario, and 211 Vario.
• Local implement manufacturers
  also exhibited a wide range of products, with a focus on large implements
  for cereal crops and specialized tools for woody crops.
• ID David’s implements always stand out for their design and
  functionality—they never fail to draw attention.

Beyond the machinery, the fair also offered a rich agenda of events,
activities, and talks. Among many other topics, these included livestock, the
promotion of
Manchego cheese, discussions on
La Mancha wines, and children’s activities for the youngest attendees and future farmers.
